Job Functions / Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, perform repairs and maintenance work Ensure building systems and associated equipment operate reliably Assist internal departments with moving of furnishings and modular office systems. Monitor and coordinate work performed by outside contractors. Suggest methods to improve services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of facility tenants. Set up for office events and meetings, Provide support for Data Center and Network Operations Center Fire panel troubleshooting Oversee repairs performed by third party vendors Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
1+ years of experience working in custodial and other facility maintenance work. 1+ year of customer facing experience Valid Washington State Driver’s License and excellent driving record required. Must be able to move and/or lift equipment (up to 50 pounds), climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.The workspace for this position is located in the Facilities area. The role requires the individual to engage in frequent sitting and walking. Must be available to work “on-call” 24 hours/day for emergencies. Overtime will be required, as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
AutoCAD experience Knowledge regarding OSHA general safety standards Knowledge of PCs and computerized control systems Experience with building management systems Formal training on HVAC, electrical systems and/or other technical crafts. Detail-oriented mindset with strong attention to accuracy Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, including active listening, problem solving when under pressure, and facilitation.
