Become a part of our caring community The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible and accountable for making decisions that are based on the individual’s educational preparation and nursing experience, and for providing nursing services as ordered on patient plan of care. Report’s problems/potential problems to RN/Case Manager. The Licensed Practical Nurse duties and responsibilities are to particle in the nursing process by providing input to the client’s plane of care. Implementing the care plan as written. Evaluating effectiveness of care plan, make recommendations for revisions as appropriate. Records all pertinent observations and treatments as per Agency policies. Provide for the emotional and physical comfort and safety of the client. Perform nursing procedures for which he/she has been trained. Notify appropriate person about unusual symptoms and/or changes in condition of clients. Participate in case conferences, meeting and performance improvement activities as assigned. Complies with all Agency policies and procedures including HIPPA Privacy Rules. Maintains patient/business confidentiality. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB. Must have a valid in-state driver’s license, provide current registration and insurance, and have a driving record with no more than 2 points within the last 3 years. This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100,000/300,000/100,000 limits. Scheduled Weekly Hours 1 Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.
