Job Description
About the Role: Lead team members to identify, manage, and execute the plant’s process improvement opportunities. Manage sanitation staff to attain production and quality goals. Identify problems in sanitized processes and resolves issues. Ensure sanitize resources including materials, equipment is available as needed to maintain production schedules. Support continuous improvement goals in safety, quality, costs, and customer service. Responsible for managing and owning various functions of the business and create an engaged and team-oriented workforce to improve business results. Responsible for reporting any food safety or quality issues to Supervisor as well as the following specific duties involving food safety and quality. Ability to comprehend and perform cleaning protocols for all assigned equipment in the plant. Ability to assemble and disassemble assigned equipment in a safe manner. Ability to safely mix and apply industrial cleaners and sanitizers as instructed and per label directions. Keep all assigned equipment in working order. Ability to communicate issues and concerns to the Sanitation Supervisor/Foreperson. Ability to drive a forklift, genie boom and scissor lift (training will be provided). Ability to work at height using all appropriate PPE. Certify that all tasks performed pass microbiological tests as required. Perform line CIP, if designated. All personnel assigned to this position will be issued/will use the protective gear necessary to perform the above tasks. Work in all areas of the plant, as assigned by the Sanitation Foreman/Supervisor. Ability to document cleaning task completion appropriately. Overtime before and after shift may be required. Perform other tasks as assigned daily. Important Details: This is a full-time permanent 3rd shift, which operates from 9:30pm - 5:30am Monday through Friday with some Saturdays/Sundays.
