Position
Purpose: Develop innovative procurement solutions at a project/category/organizational level and provide guidance to category team for sourcing event level strategies. Engage senior leadership team to drive buy-in and adoption into the category strategy and changes required to enable the organization. Key Details: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Sponsorship and future sponsorship are not available for this opportunity, including employment-based visa types H-1B, L-1, O-1, H-1B1, F-1, J -1, OPT, or CPT Monitor high value proposal evaluation and award decisions with business stakeholders Influence the development of category strategies and category initiatives with focus on transformation, internal collaboration, global third-party partnerships, driving sustainability, and utilizing technology and change management to maximize business value and results Monitor category financial performance Participate in supplier performance reviews with strategic suppliers and business stakeholders Manage supplier relationships at a global enterprise level and work with the business to make sure supplier risk management activities are executed effectively Work with Contracting CoE leaders to promote the use of category specific templates by Sourcing teams Work with Contracting CoE leaders for strategies to improve contract visibility and risk management Identify and seek opportunities for improvement in organizational procurement compliance and effectively promote and manage changes in procurement policy, processes and standard operating procedures Develop, manage and lead the Category team with a focus on procurement in a strategic and goal-oriented manner Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Sourcing, Procurement, or related field or equivalent experience. Master’s degree preferred. 7+ years of experience in related field.
