About this role
The Digital Contract Lifecycle & Client Negotiation Solutions Manager is responsible for supporting the development and continuous enhancement of Services' negotiated client framework and related client lifecycle capabilities. This role combines expertise in contract lifecycle management, client onboarding, documentation governance, and process transformation to help deliver scalable, client-centric solutions that balance business objectives, regulatory requirements, and risk management considerations. Working across Product, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Technology, and Enterprise teams, the successful candidate will drive initiatives focused on digital contract negotiation, documentation standardization, onboarding optimization, and transforming contractual documents into structured data that improves transparency, reporting, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Support the development and execution of Services' negotiated client framework, driving consistency, scalability, and transparency across products and regions. Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of contract lifecycle management capabilities, including negotiation, execution, maintenance, and governance of client agreements. Partner with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations, and Technology teams to improve documentation processes, controls, and client experience. Drive initiatives that transform documentation into structured, searchable, and actionable data to support reporting, automation, and decision-making. Support the development of documentation standards, metadata frameworks, taxonomies, and governance processes. Help align documentation classifications and terminology with industry standards and client-recognized market nomenclature. Partner with onboarding and KYC teams to streamline client onboarding processes while maintaining appropriate regulatory and control requirements. Identify opportunities to improve digital client journeys through workflow optimization, automation, and process simplification. Gather business requirements and support delivery of technology-enabled solutions that enhance contract negotiation and lifecycle management capabilities. Analyze business, operational, and regulatory requirements and recommend scalable solutions to improve efficiency and reduce risk. Build strong partnerships across global stakeholders and support cross-functional initiatives in a highly matrixed environment. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients, and assets through adherence to applicable laws, regulations, policies, and control requirements.
Qualifications
5-8 years of experience in Product Management, Contract Lifecycle Management, Client Onboarding, Documentation Governance, Regulatory Change, Operations, or related disciplines within financial services. Experience working with cross-functional partners including Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Technology, and business teams. Working knowledge of client onboarding, KYC, due diligence, and client lifecycle management processes. Experience supporting contract lifecycle management, documentation digitization, workflow transformation, or related process improvement initiatives. Understanding of data standards, metadata management, taxonomy frameworks, and documentation governance principles. Experience designing or supporting digital workflows and client journeys. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present recommendations and influence outcomes across diverse stakeholder groups. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, global environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms and related technologies. Knowledge of negotiated legal agreements and documentation governance practices.
