Junior Material Sales & Support Specialist

Junior Material Sales Specialist (Temporary Contract - 1year) Airbus Türkiye provides integrated logistics support and material management services to its customers in Türkiye for both fixed-wing aircraft platforms and rotary-wing aircraft platforms. Within the Airbus Defence and Space and Airbus Helicopters product portfolio, our company supports the operational needs of the Turkish Armed Forces and other public institutions by managing spare parts supply, repair processes, and customer support activities. To support our growing operational activities, we are looking for a Junior Material Sales and Support Specialist to join our Material Support team based on operational requirements. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to join these operations. Your tasks and responsibilities Your main tasks will include:  ​Customers’ focal point for spares material sales for Airbus platforms in Türkiye.  Embrace the challenge to satisfy the customers with availability and effective material support organization.  Manage customers’ RFQs for all Airbus platforms from all Turkish End-Users, identify all possible troublemakers and ensure on time, on quality and on cost deliveries.  Manage all customer orders, follow-up orders in SAP, verify the availability of the material, pursue the overdue orders and expedite the process working with all internal parties.  Support all material related MRO activities.  Process and follow up customer repair orders, provide quotations, ensure on time, on quality responses and deliveries.  Resolve all material related discrepancies with the customer and central functions.  Ensure high level of customer satisfaction by being in touch with the End-Users and coordinating periodic meetings for all Airbus platforms.  Follow up warranty claims and related repair activities for Airbus Platforms.  Run the logistics operations together with the dedicated customs agent/forwarder for all Airbus Platforms in Türkiye.  Organize transportation activities, managing information for the Points of Delivery, orchestrating movements and arrange the services necessary to fulfil the delivery commitment.  Coordinate and track movements of material and inform the customer accordingly.  Manage the logistics supplier to ensure on time, on quality and on cost delivery. Desired skills and qualifications  Preferably graduated from an Engineering discipline; however, candidates from other relevant fields also be considered.  No prior professional experience is required.  No restriction on domestic and international travel.  Valid driving license required.  Completed military service (or no military obligation) for male candidates.  Awareness in Turkish defense industry and customer ecosystem.  Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.  Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)  Familiarity with SAP system is considered an asset.  Fluency in English and Turkish verbal and written, as well as excellent writing, communication and presentation skills mandatory; knowledge of Spanish and/or French is an asset.
