Key Responsibilities
Operate, monitor , and troubleshoot data center network infrastructure based on CLOS (spine-leaf) topology Perform configuration changes, firmware upgrades, and maintenance activities on data center switching platforms Respond to data center network incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive resolution within established SLAs Execute standard change requests following established operational procedures and change management processes Support data center interconnect (DCI) links and ensure reliable connectivity between facilities Collaborate with the India operations team on shift handoffs, shared ticket queues, and operational continuity Partner with the architecture and design team in San Diego to implement approved data center network designs and standards Maintain accurate documentation including CLOS fabric topology diagrams, cabling records, and configuration baselines Contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes, runbooks, and automation efforts Required Qualifications 3–5 years of hands-on experience in data center network operations Strong understanding of CLOS (spine-leaf) network architecture and design principles Working knowledge of data center protocols and technologies (BGP/EVPN, VXLAN, ECMP, MC-LAG) Experience with data center switching platforms (Cisco Nexus, Arista, Juniper QFX, or equivalent) Familiarity with data center operational standards including cabling, labeling, and rack-and-stack procedures Strong English communication skills — written and verbal — required for daily collaboration with global teams Ability to work on-site in Mexico City 5 days per week Preferred Qualifications Cisco CCNA/CCNP Data Center, Arista ACE, or Juniper JNCIS-DC certification Experience working in a global, follow-the-sun operations model Familiarity with network automation and infrastructure-as-code tools (Ansible, Terraform, Python) Understanding of server virtualization and container networking as it relates to data center fabric ITIL Foundation or experience working within ITIL-based service management frameworks Minimum Qualifications: • 3+ years of Networked Systems-related work experience with a Bachelor's degree. OR 5+ years of Networked Systems-related work experience without a Bachelor’s degree. Physical Requirements: • Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 20 lbs. *Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
