Quality Management Systems Manager

As a Quality Management Systems Manager you will be responsible to ensure the development, maintenance, and improvement of the quality system, in accordance with and compliance with the requirements established in the different standards that allow the organization to grow in the different business units through the obtaining/retention of certifications for the different plants, laboratories, and products contained within the scope of the standards in question, applicable to each business unit, ISO TS, ISO 9001, AITF, VDA. This position reports to Quality Manager.

Development, training, and certification of the pool of internal auditors for PPG and its satellite operations. Maintain and control the documentation related to the quality management system, ensuring the safeguarding of information, change control, version control, and integration of all external documents. Development, administration, and monitoring of the internal audit program based on ISO/TS1649:2009 and ISO 9001:2008, acting as a coach for internal auditors with the objective of raising the operational level of the different processes. Responsible for managing the supplier portal for our different clients, ensuring timely and appropriate responses to their requirements, and maintaining tracking and monitoring of our Supplier Score. Responsible for the administration of the CAIR LPA system, ISO-TS, ensuring the generation and follow-up of corrective actions (CAIRs) derived from second and third-party audits in order to correct and prevent the recurrence of findings. Manage the Layers (LPA) audit process in order to determine the effectiveness of manufacturing processes: a. Train new personnel in the process so that everyone understands the function of the LPA and can carry it out in a timely manner. Participate in advanced quality planning activities to ensure that all processes have the corresponding documentation that supports their design, feasibility, validation, and customer approval.

Bachelor's degree/Engineering degree, minimum 4 years of experience in quality systems activities in the automotive and auto parts industry (ISO/TS). Advanced English. Willingness to travel. Certifications: ISO-TS 1649 1st and 2nd party auditor. Success Factors – Prime Success Factors (promote teamwork, build trust & respect, understand market & customer perspective) plus the following: Knowledge of ISO/TS16949, ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, VDA standards, or Internal auditor certification based on ISO 19011 Proficiency in Core Tools, LPAs, and problem-solving tools.
