Job Title: CB-Trade Finance and Lending (TF&L) New Deal Portfolio Management – AVP Location: Mumbai, India Role Description TF&L is looking for candidates with more than 5 - 8 years of proficiency in German language to support its Lending Deal Management team based in Luxembourg. The candidate will primarily be responsible for the capture of covenants for newly executed deals and subsequent amendments as well as the ongoing monitoring of covenants throughout the lifecycle of the loan across various regions, including Luxembourg and the United States. The role would suit an individual who has worked in a large team and has been involved on the credit side or documentation.  We are looking for a candidate who has good product knowledge and business understanding and will need constant coordination with various stakeholders in a challenging, fast-paced environment, where the team and individual can make significant contribution for the global Corporate Bank - Trade Finance and Lending Business. The team works on a global lending portfolio across countries. The key responsibilities will be: Review LMA and LSTA governed facility agreements and capture covenant obligations for newly executed deals within the internal covenant management system. Monitor covenant compliance throughout the lifecycle of the loan, including the processing of subsequent changes such as amendments, extensions, waivers, and other contractual modifications. Support covenant monitoring activities across multiple regions, including Luxembourg and the United States. Prepare periodic management dashboards highlighting overdue covenant deliverables and outstanding documentation. Perform monthly reconciliations of newly executed deals to ensure completeness and accuracy of covenant records. Support audit-related requests and provide relevant covenant data and documentation. Maintain and update process documentation and workflows to ensure alignment with current operating procedures. Your skills and experience Technical Experience: 5 - 8 years of experience in understanding loan agreements, i.e. familiarity with legal language, LMA standards etc. preferred Very strong proofreading skills of legal credit documents, professional negotiation skills. Knowledge and experience working with loan, collateral, and limit reservations platforms Profound MS Office experience.
