Job Description
Responsibilities and Essential Functions: This position is responsible for directing the development and implementation of production goals in safety, quality, customer delivery, and financial improvement. Developing capacity plans and output forecasts based upon complex customer demand trends and variable labor content per production order is critical to the role. Developing and executing resource planning in a high product mix, highly flexible and customized manufacturing process while selecting, developing, and evaluating personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production team is required. This work consists of planning and administering operating policies, procedures, and practices that foster employee engagement in a continuous improvement driven work environment. This work requires attention to detail, managing multiple priorities and taking actions which may encompass but not limited to the following: Advocate and maintain an inclusive environment of open and honest communication, enhancing a culture of mutual respect and integrity in which information flows freely Select and hire employees and provide on-going performance monitoring. Evaluate employee performance on a continual basis and provide continuous performance feedback.
