Job Description

AECOM Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Structural Engineer in Denver, CO.

Job Details

Prepare structural designs, plans, specifications and cost estimates for transportation structures including bridges, retaining walls, and drainage structures Provide load rating analysis, rehabilitation concepts, and structure-type analysis evaluations Use current engineering design software Perform specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer Gather and correlate basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures Work on detailed and routine engineering assignments involving calculations and tests Propose approaches to solve problems encountered Identify discrepancies in results Provide guidance to entry-level engineers Perform work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision Telecommuting permitted up to 3 days per week Qualifications Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field of study and 2 years of experience as a Structural Engineer, Civil Engineer, or in a related occupation. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field of study and no experience. Experience and skills can be gained in pursuit of a university-level degree via coursework, projects, or internships. Skills may be gained concurrently. Position requires experience in the following: Structural Bridge Design Prestressed and Pretensioned Concrete Design 3D Structural Modeling RISA 3D AutoCAD Bluebeam AASHTO Design Standards Microsoft Office Suite Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
