Global Logistics Intern, Origin Ops

Amazon Global Logistics in China is a team of highly experienced logistics professionals, product & program managers, and carrier specialists actively participating in Amazon's international expansion goals. We are seeking a motivated AI & Automation Intern to support the development and readiness of our origin operations as we launch and scale new services. Working alongside our program managers, you will help identify process gaps, support automation programs, and drive the adoption of AI-powered solutions across our operations teams. This role also contributes to improving the productivity of business operations, ensuring customer-facing teams have the knowledge, SOPs, and resources they need to effectively support our customers. The successful candidate will combine curiosity about operations and process with the ability to turn data and feedback into practical, measurable improvements. Key job responsibilities - Analyze origin operations workflows (booking, customs, documentation, exceptions) to identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities. - Support rollout of AI and automation solutions across ops teams: gather requirements, coordinate pilots, and drive adoption. - Curate and maintain SOPs and knowledge base content so AI tools return accurate, up-to-date answers. - Track performance metrics (accuracy, cycle time, hours saved) and prepare simple dashboards and reports.
