Service Engineer (Japan)

Position Summary   Required to provide the highest level of response and service supports to customers of Taylor Hobson Japan   Key Responsibilities

Install TH instruments, accessories and software. Conduct IMS testing and customer-requested buy-off testing Provide operator training to customers for order closure. Provide solutions within customers’ accepted downtime. Play front-line sales role to lead AMEcare orders. Provide solutions to customers’ operating problems which may require applications knowledge on the instrument. Proactively learn newly developed software as well as instruments to promote those to customers.

Requirements for Consideration

Educated mechanical and/or electrical engineering knowledge in an institute or college. Experience as R&D engineer, service engineer, production engineer or sales engineer in former jobs PC skills Business communication skills Reading & writing English skills Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.

Experience/Qualifications

B to B experience in former jobs. Verbal English skill
