As an Oracle Senior Database Administrator, you will play a key role in shaping and maintaining the enterprise Oracle database landscape that underpins critical business services and applications. Working across architecture, engineering, operations, and security teams, you will provide technical leadership to ensure database platforms remain secure, resilient, scalable, and ready to support future growth and modernisation initiatives. Lead the design, administration, and continuous improvement of enterprise Oracle database environments, including high availability, disaster recovery, performance optimisation, and capacity planning. Partner with enterprise architects, infrastructure engineers, application teams, and cybersecurity stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performing database solutions across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid platforms. Drive database transformation initiatives including migrations, upgrades, platform modernisation, cloud adoption, automation, and operational optimisation programs. Provide technical leadership and mentoring across the database capability, establishing engineering standards, guiding architectural decisions, and identifying opportunities to improve resilience, security, efficiency, and platform performance.
