How you will create an impact This role would suit a tax professional with a good experience of the Brazilian tax regime with the drive and focus to develop their knowledge in a multinational environment. The Senior Tax Analyst will report to the Tax Manager. Brazil tax compliance knowledge regarding Income taxes (IRPJ/CSLL), VAT(PIS/Cofins/ISS/CIDE/IBS/CBS), and withholding taxes (IRRF/CSRF/INSS) and their tax returns (DeRE/ECF/DCTF-Web/MIT/EFD-Cont/REINF/DIFAL). Provide support to the business on a variety of tax technical issues, regarding insurance and service companies, also providing help to the senior tax analyst, doing the compliance and ensuring proper taxation of BRL 1.6 billion in GPW. Closely monitor the legal development of Tax Reform, understanding the tax and compliance risks, helping the team to avoid them. Preparing direct and indirect tax compliance by ensuring submission of statutory tax returns in an accurate and timely manner. Supporting US GAAP tax reports for the Corporate office. Supporting the Tax Manager on guiding finance staff with their technical tax questions; assisting with technical questions, tax opportunities, compliance, deferred tax, transfer pricing, tax basis balance sheet, tax calculations and computation. To provide accurate and timely support to Tax Manager when attending tax and finance function and wider areas of the business. Build, maintain and develop strategic relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to support delivery of tax advice to finance and the business organization. Journal entries booking and accounting reconciliations. Conference and payment of withholding taxes, such as WHT and Social contributions (e-Reinf/DCTFWeb). Tax computations, such as monthly closing of Corporate Income Tax, Social Contributions on Income, VAT (PIS/COFINS), withholding taxes at source, Tax on international remittances. Review of Service tax reconciliation (ISS). Monitor evolving tax rules and interpretations for the insurance sector. Serve as liaison with IT, legal, and compliance teams, as well as external consultants and auditors. Support auditors and accounting team for Financial Statements. Support Transfer Pricing team, documentation and computation (through e-CAC). Monitor of judicial deposits, tax debts and receipt of fiscal subpoenas. Monitor and issuance of Tax and Federal Contributions Debit Clearance Certificate (CoR/Debit Notes/Invoices). Analysis of tax implications of local and international transactions and Tax Reform knowledge up to date is mandatory.
