About this role
About the Role
At Squarespace, we believe great talent experiences help people do their best work. We're looking for a Principal Talent Management Partner to help shape how we support performance, growth, careers, and development across the company.
This is a builder role with end-to-end ownership of our Talent Management portfolio, including performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, career development, internal mobility, skills, and future talent initiatives. You'll connect these programs into simple, scalable experiences that help employees grow, managers lead effectively, and the business make better talent decisions.
Working closely with People Business Partners, leaders, and cross-functional teams, you'll turn strategy into action - designing and delivering programs, facilitating critical talent conversations, using data to improve our approach, and leveraging AI and technology to modernize how talent experiences are delivered.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, brings structure to complex ideas, and is equally energized by shaping strategy and making it happen.

• Design experiences that fit naturally into the flow of work and make meaningful feedback part of everyday conversations.
• Create practical frameworks, resources, and tools that help managers lead performance and career conversations with confidence.
• Use workforce insights, employee feedback, and program metrics to proactively identify opportunities, measure impact, and continuously improve the talent experience.
Lead strategy through execution
• Lead complex initiatives from strategy and design through implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement.
• Manage roadmaps, project plans, stakeholder alignment, governance, and delivery across multiple priorities and programs.
• Drive change that is thoughtful, practical, and easy for employees and managers to adopt.
Partner, communicate, and influence
• Serve as a trusted Talent Management partner to People Business Partners,
