A Day in the Life The Credit Services function supports Medtronic’s order-to-cash operations by partnering with customers and internal stakeholders to manage credit and collections activities, resolve account issues, and support healthy cash flow. The team operates within a modern shared-services environment that leverages digital workflows, data-driven decision-making, and AI-enabled tools to deliver efficient and compliant customer outcomes. We are seeking graduates and early-career professionals with professional proficiency in Dutch language support customers across our Benelux markets. As an Associate Credit Services Representative, you will support credit and collections activities for assigned customer accounts while developing expertise in customer engagement, financial operations, and digital service delivery. You will collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve outstanding balances, maintain accurate account records, and contribute to operational excellence within a technology-enabled Credit Services organisation.
Primary Responsibilities
Manage assigned customer accounts and perform collection activities to support timely payment of outstanding balances. Communicate with customers by phone and email in English and the required market language to resolve payment issues, clarify account information, and support payment arrangements. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, account activities, and collection outcomes within designated systems. Partner with Finance, Customer Service, and other internal stakeholders to investigate and resolve account discrepancies. Escalate complex customer, account, or workflow issues in accordance with established policies and procedures. Follow documented processes, controls, and compliance requirements to ensure accurate and consistent service delivery. Utilise approved digital and AI-enabled tools to support workflow execution, information gathering, prioritisation, and customer communications. Contribute feedback on recurring issues, process gaps, workflow improvements, and automation opportunities to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and no prior professional experience required. Fluent English and minimum C1 proficiency in Dutch with the ability to communicate effectively in a business environment both verbally and in writing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word. Ability to learn and work effectively across multiple systems, workflow technologies, and AI-enabled tools. Availability to work on-site in Warsaw during onboarding, training, certification, and operational readiness activities as required.
Preferred Qualifications
Up to one year of experience in finance, accounting, shared services, customer service, or a related business environment. Experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP. Experience supporting customers across EMEA markets. Experience working with customer account management, collections, or order-to-cash processes. Demonstrated interest in process improvement, digital transformation, and technology-enabled service delivery.
