About this role: The Senior Finance Manager is the financial business partner for a Carrier manufacturing facility, leading financial planning, cost control, and decision support across the operation. This role leads the site's finance function and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
Leads financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the site. Owns manufacturing cost control and variance analysis. Ensures integrity of financial reporting and US GAAP accounting compliance. Provides financial support to capital investments (CAPEX) and business cases. Serves as a business partner to the leadership team on decision-making. Ensure internal controls and compliance with corporate policies (SOX). Leads and develops the site finance team. Owns inventory financial governance, including valuation, reserves, cycle count support, excess and obsolete inventory analysis and working capital performance. Drives continuous improvement, process optimization, and finance transformation initiatives. Serves as the primary finance lead for audits, compliance activities, and corporate governance requirements. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree 8+ years of finance experience, including 3+ years supporting a manufacturing operation. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field; an MBA or CPA is strongly preferred. Expertise in manufacturing cost accounting, variance analysis and standard costing. Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls and SOX compliance. Proven experience leading financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and CAPEX business cases. Demonstrated ability to serve as a business partner to operations leadership. Proficiency with ERP (SAP/Oracle) and BI tools (Power BI). Experience in high-growth Pay Range The annual salary for this position is between $117,500.00 - $234,500.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. Other Compensation This position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
