Who You Are
As an Executive Communications Lead (Principal Creative Services Manager), you translate complex business narratives into executive presentations that can withstand close scrutiny from the CEO, Board members, investors, and other senior stakeholders. You serve as a standalone individual contributor reporting to the Head of Business Performance, partnering directly with C level leaders to shape strategic communications, investor materials, M&A narratives, and quarterly business reviews. In this role, you combine narrative strategy, business judgment, and presentation discipline to strengthen executive decision making and confidence. What You'll Do • Own the strategy and execution of Board materials, investor presentations, and executive strategic communications from intake through final delivery. • Lead conversations with C level stakeholders to understand objectives, gather inputs, define messaging priorities, and shape clear presentation strategies. • Develop business cases and strategic narratives by challenging assumptions, testing logic, identifying weak points, and restructuring arguments before executive review. • Design presentations for stakeholder scrutiny by anticipating likely questions, building supporting depth into materials, and ensuring each slide can stand on its own under cross examination. • Define the visual and narrative architecture of executive materials, including story flow, visual hierarchy, slide logic, and consistency across summaries, reviews, and full length decks. • Manage feedback cycles across multiple senior stakeholders by synthesizing input, resolving conflicting perspectives, and preserving narrative coherence through revision rounds. • Create clear, decision driving charts, infographics, and presentation visuals that improve comprehension and support executive level communication. • Establish presentation standards, templates, playbooks, and best practices for the business to improve the quality and consistency of executive communications over time. • Advise leaders on how to communicate with executive audiences by applying insight into stakeholder psychology, risk evaluation, and investor or Board expectations. What You'll Need • 7 to 10 years of professional experience in high stakes, scrutiny driven environments where presentations influence decisions. • Graduation, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. • Experience in one or more of the following environments: management consulting visual or strategy teams, investment banking pitchbook or M&A execution, Big Four deal advisory presentation teams, an internal CEO or executive communications function at a large enterprise, or VC or PE investor relations roles with board level narrative experience. • Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint, Keynote, or equivalent presentation platforms. • Advanced Excel charting skills and the ability to create clear, decision driving charts and infographics. • Strong understanding of stakeholder psychology, including what drives C suite conviction, investor confidence or skepticism, and Board level evaluation of risk. • Executive presence and credibility, with the ability to challenge assumptions respectfully and take ownership of outcomes. •
