Sr. Corporate Counsel

Our Corporate Affairs department is seeking an experienced Attorney for our growing team. Corporate Affairs acts as in-house counsel for Medpace, and its domestic and international subsidiaries. Areas of legal practice include (but are not limited to) corporate compliance, global privacy, governance, commercial transactions, employment matters, litigation and other areas as assigned.

Provide or arrange for legal services for enterprise-wide or entity-wide scope support and administrative functions. Act as a point of contact for matters of global privacy, data protection and compliance. Advise on US Securities Law, government contracting and immigration matters. Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, and manage third-party contracting process. Identify appropriate outside counsel and oversee/coordinate outsourced legal work. Identify potential legal issues in operations, strategic planning, and business development activities. Escalate legal risks to members of management along with recommendations for resolution. Assist legal team in drafting and updating corporate compliance policies and SOPs. Monitor changes in local, state, federal, and foreign laws and regulations, and advise management accordingly.

Juris Doctorate with 5-7 years of experience at a law firm or in-house. Licensed in OH or eligible to become licensed. Knowledge in corporate compliance and governance, contracts, collections and/or general litigation is preferred. Experience with corporate governance and securities transactions is preferred. Experience with US or Internal labor and employment law is preferred. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Professional demeanor and strong work ethic.
