Software Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Responsibilities** * Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements and design specifications. * Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing. * Identify, document, track, and retest software defects using designated defect tracking systems. * Collaborate closely with development teams to understand software architecture, functionality, and potential areas for quality improvement. * Participate in design reviews, requirements analysis, and other project meetings to provide quality assurance input. * Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies. * Generate test reports, summarize test results, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders. * Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines and quality objectives. * Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in software quality assurance. Job Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. * 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance or a similar role. * Proven experience with various testing methodologies and techniques. * Proficiency in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts. * Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla). * Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. * Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies is desirable. * Experience with embedded systems or manufacturing software a plus.     BE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
