Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and vendor communications while supporting the company's financial operations. Job Function • Review, verify, and process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner. • Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation and resolve discrepancies. • Prepare and process ACH payments, wire transfers, and checks according to payment schedules. • Reconcile vendor statements and investigate outstanding balances. • Maintain accounts payable aging reports and monitor open items. • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor payment inquiries. • Collaborate with purchasing, receiving, and internal departments to resolve invoice and payment issues. • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities and reporting. • Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. • Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation. • Identify opportunities to improve accounts payable processes and efficiency through automation and best practices. • Perform other duties as assigned.   Required Skills • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role. • Proficiency with ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and accounts payable software. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Experience with process improvement initiatives is a plus.

Range The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $60,000.00/Yr. - USD $65,000.00/Yr. depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
