As part of the Talent Acquisition team, you'll attract and engage top talent, guiding candidates through their journey from first contact to their first day and beyond. As a Recruiter, you'll take the lead as you … Creatively source high caliber candidates by maximizing internet resources, cold-calling, employee referrals, and other resource tools. Track analytical data regarding all facets of the hiring process, to include sourcing effectiveness, offer rate, accept rate and other analysis as needed. Build strong partnerships with client groups and HR generalists to proactively manage staffing needs. Identify talent gaps within client groups and drive staffing solutions. Effectively promote career opportunities by demonstrating a passion for Target, the culture and community. Share accountability to expense management. Initiate and drive special projects to elevate the recruiting process and implement creative methods to find top-tier candidates. About you
Four-year degree OR a combination of relevant education, experience, and demonstrated skills. This could include: -Experience gained through previous roles, apprenticeships, or on-the-job training -Certifications, coursework, or self-directed learning 2+ years of full cycle recruitment experience HR Acumen & Curiosity : Understanding of talent and staffing practices. Ability to create a positive brand experience for partners and candidates. Ability to ask questions to understand new concepts. Ability to explore unfamiliar topics and learn new information . Talent Assessment : Understanding of how to screen and assess knowledge, skills and abilities. Ability to ask probing questions to seek understanding of candidate behaviors. Communication & Influence : Ability to clearly and effectively convey a message, idea, and/or information to drive understanding and action, both written and verbal. Ability to communicate and influence hiring decisions, share industry trends and outline the staffing process with partners. Experience using communication to express opinions. Critical Thinking & Initiative : Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and seek guidance to act on them. Ability to track metrics and analyze data to determine process improvements. Collaboration : Ability to work effectively with peers and partners, sharing information and seeking input. Demonstrates openness to diverse perspectives and adjusts to team needs with guidance. Understanding of how to leverage peers and partners when working through new and ambiguous situations. Flexibility & Workload Management : Ability to manage workload and support peers and partners while also taking on additional projects. Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
