About the Role
McKesson is seeking a Senior Facilities Representative to support the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and reliability of our facilities. In this role, you will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot building systems, coordinate repairs, and help ensure a safe, compliant, and efficient environment for employees and business operations. This position requires a strong working knowledge of commercial building systems and the ability to independently resolve moderately complex maintenance issues.
What You'll Do
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems and equipment, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general building infrastructure. Respond to maintenance requests, troubleshoot facility issues, and complete repairs to support safe and efficient building operations. Conduct routine facility inspections, identify maintenance or safety concerns, and implement corrective actions as needed. Coordinate with vendors and contractors while maintaining accurate work orders, maintenance records, and compliance documentation. Support facility operations through office moves, equipment installations, building improvement projects, security monitoring, and seasonal maintenance activities.
Basic Requirements
Typically requires 3+ years of related experience Experience maintaining and troubleshooting commercial building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment. Experience performing preventive maintenance and facility repairs. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment. Experience managing work orders, maintenance requests, or facility service tickets. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, schematics, or equipment documentation. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills / Experience Trade certification or vocational training in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, facilities maintenance, or a related field. Experience working in distribution, logistics, manufacturing, healthcare, or large commercial environments. Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Knowledge of building automation systems (BAS) and facility monitoring systems. Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, and third-party service providers. Familiarity with OSHA and workplace safety practices. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
Physical Requirements
Primarily onsite role supporting facility operations. May require occasional local travel between facilities or vendor locations. Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and work in various indoor and outdoor environments. Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. Ability to work around mechanical equipment and facility infrastructure while following established safety procedures.
