Aon Is Looking for an Insurance Client Service Specialist As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting the reverse flow Canada Desk. This is a hybrid role based out of our Bloomington/Richfield MN office. What the day will look like In this role, you will work on US business for our Canadian clients. You will assist the Account Executives and Associate Account Executives on assigned accounts, managing key processes that serve clients (including complex clients) and undertaking the client-facing and internal activities related to these processes. Account Specialists will also assist Brokers as necessary, particularly on Commercial Risk business.
Job Responsibilities
Assists the account management team (account executives, brokers, etc.) on assigned accounts, managing the day-to-day client support service processes. Where applicable, serves as the primary interface with Aon Client Services (ACS), coordinating activities of the client service team and ACS to ensure that key processes assigned are performed effectively. Interface with team on administration matters such as following-up on invoice generation, receivables and collections. Review and resolve income leakage reports, etc., as needed. Maintain open items lists on a variety of projects for assigned clients Continue to develop technical elements of the job, in order to confidently articulate the merits of our team’s role to internal or external clients Process endorsements/audits, certificates of insurance, auto id cards, invoicing and policy transmittals. Assists broker with renewal processes such as renewal requests and proposals Working with Surplus Lines Unit to ensure placement is compliant, proper documentation obtained, taxes and fees are correctly assessed and processed on invoice. Assist Canada Desk team as back up as needed Knowledge and Expertise: 1+ years of experience within client/customer support role, preferably with an insurance company, broker or agency. Property/Casualty Insurance license preferred. If not licensed, license must be obtained within six months of start date. Excellent organization skills, and keen attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. Ability to communicate effectively with others (written and oral). Proficiency in Microsoft office products such as Word, Excel and Outlook requiredas well as the ability to learn/work with AI.
