In This Role, You Will: Cvent is seeking an exceptional senior executive to serve as its Senior Vice President / Vice President, Marketing – India. This role is the senior-most marketing leader in India. This individual will be a critical force multiplier: ensuring that India’s 200+ marketing professionals are high performing, deeply aligned with global priorities, and operating at the frontier of marketing innovation. Beyond operational stewardship, this executive will serve as a recognized champion of the Event Technology and Martech landscape — representing Cvent’s perspective externally in India & APAC/IMEA region. The role operates within a global matrix structure: functional direction flows from discipline leaders based across the US, EMEA, and APAC, while this executive holds full ownership of people leadership, operational excellence, talent strategy, and site culture for India. In This Role, You Will: 1. People Leadership, Coaching & Talent Management • Serve as the primary people leader for 200+ India-based marketing professionals across multiple disciplines, coaching and developing talent in close partnership with global functional leaders. • Drive a comprehensive India marketing talent strategy: workforce planning, strategic hiring, structured onboarding, career pathing, and retention — with depth in demand generation, Martech, digital, analytics, events, and creative. • Identify and accelerate high-potential leaders; build robust succession pipelines and a strong internal bench across all marketing functions. • Foster a high-performance, inclusive culture aligned with Cvent’s values and spirit of intrapreneurship — where every marketer is empowered to think like an owner and act with urgency. 2.
