Position
Summary You will drive the growth and evolution of the Asia Pacific portfolio by shaping portfolio strategy and enabling execution through collaboration with FMC teams, external partners, and stakeholders across global, regional, and country levels. You will also lead key APAC marketing planning initiatives to support sustainable business growth.
The Role
Your responsibilities include: Portfolio strategy: Develop and execute asset-specific portfolio strategies, including new offers, segmented value propositions, brand ladders, and innovation initiatives to maximize portfolio value and growth. New product introduction: Lead commercialization of the FMC technology pipeline by launching innovative products and formulations, partnering cross-functionally to ensure successful NPI delivery. Post-patent management: Progress the post-patent strategy of relevant AIs, taking into account the evolving competitive scenario, product life-cycle management and FMC growth goals. Optimize financial performance: Drive financial performance of the portfolio, review portfolio pricing, profitability, and implications on the P&L. Business, market intelligence: Drive generation of market insights, competitive intelligence, industry analytics to guide strategic decisions. Be the focal point for all market research activities Marketing planning: Support key marketing initiatives and engagements eg. Long-range plans, strategy development, competitive intelligence and related to enable achieving planned growth of the business. The Candidate Success in this role requires a strong results orientation, strategic mindset, and the ability to drive decisive actions that strengthen the competitiveness of the FMC portfolio. You will work across a diverse stakeholder network and must be able to influence, align, and lead cross-functional teams across geographies and cultures. We also expect that you have: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA holder will be an added advantage. At least 10–15 years of experience in the crop protection industry across marketing and commercial functions, including regional portfolio management across Asia Pacific and/or country-level commercial or marketing leadership. Proven expertise in portfolio management, including portfolio planning, new product introductions, post-patent strategies, and brand management. Project management experience preferred. Strong experience collaborating with diverse teams across cultures and regions. Excellent written, verbal, and stakeholder communication skills.
