Prepare accurate and legible operating records associated with assigned job. Must be able to understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures and special work instructions as necessary. Must have the ability to recognize abnormal operating conditions, correct and report to supervisor in a timely and responsible manner. Must be able to perform various mechanical functions as assigned. Must have the ability to perform sampling procedures and to follow chemical process procedures.
Required Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma plus one year of college Chemistry and/or Physics is required or completion of Northeast State University Chemical Process Operations Certificate Program. Experience: One (1) year or less related work experience is required. Must have the ability to wear a respirator. Must be able to obtain and maintain DOE "Q" security clearance. Pay: $37.84 The starting rate for this position in Tennessee (US-TN) is $37.84 per hour. The total compensation package for this position may also include a full range of medical, retirement and/or other benefits.
