Senior Accountant Technology Accounting

Responsibilities • Prepare monthly general ledger reconciliation schedules with the ability to communicate account activity to all levels of management. • Work cross functionally to understand general ledger and invoice activity to ensure proper accounting treatment. • Own and execute technology function Labor Reporting to assess accruals and capitalization. • Interact with the corporate tax department to ensure compliance with Federal, State and Local tax laws. • Contribute to the development of purchase and obligation reporting to measure current and future obligations. • Own quarterly Balance Sheet and Income Statement review and fluctuation analysis. • Lead quarterly analysis around 842 Lease Accounting Standards, Contractual Obligations, and Technology Asset Review. • Maintain Power BI dashboard for technology projects. • Review and analyze current finance processes, making appropriate recommendations for improvements and efficiencies.

Qualifications • Seasoned analytical, system and accounting skills (strong understanding of GAAP). • Ability to prepare all work in a timely manner with high level of attention to detail. • Excellent verbal and written communication & presentation skills. • Proven ability to multi-task and work independently; able to meet all deadlines and handle multiple objectives in a fast-paced environment. • 3-5 years Accounting and/or Finance experience. • SAP-enabled process experience/skills preferred. • PC skill proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power BI Education • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is required.
