Job Description
Airbus Public Safety and Security (PSS) is looking for an Ethics & Compliance Manager (f/m) based in Elancourt, France . You will be part of a team developing advanced security and safety solutions for governmental and civil authorities . As a key expert within the Ethics and Compliance organization , you will be responsible for managing compliance risks and ensuring business integrity, aiming at protecting the company's reputation and supporting sustainable growth through the implementation of rigorous ethical standards. Your challenges: Expert Risk Management & Due Diligence Oversee and manage complex due diligence processes for third parties (suppliers, consultants, business partners, and lobbyists) to identify and mitigate potential legal or reputational risks. Analyze and evaluate "red flags" related to sanctioned entities, ensuring all business interactions align with international regulations and company policies. Mitigate risks related to money laundering and terrorist financing by performing high-level due diligence on customers and strategic partners. Compliance Governance & Decision Support Act as a key contributor to internal decision-making committees (Compliance Committees) by preparing, presenting, and defending complex compliance files. Ensure the integrity of financial flows by monitoring third-party intermediary payments and ensuring strict adherence to the Airbus Code of Conduct. Manage governance frameworks regarding Conflicts of Interest, Gifts & Hospitality, and Sponsorship requests, ensuring consistent application of company policies. Legal Advisory & Capability Building Provide expert support on procurement compliance and lead the review and negotiation of Ethics and Compliance clauses in complex customer and consortium contracts. Drive compliance culture by designing and delivering specialized training sessions and awareness programs for high-risk exposed staff and management. MANDATORY: This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
Your profile
Demonstrated expertise in Business Administration, Law, or a related field. Proven experience in Ethics, Compliance, or Legal functions, preferably within a complex industrial setting or a highly regulated environment. Technical expertise: Strong command of Ethics & Compliance principles, risk assessment methodologies, and project management. Soft Skills: High degree of autonomy, strong ethical judgment, and the ability to act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders. Communication: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and diplomatic skills; ability to present complex information clearly to decision-makers. Languages: English language proficiency is mandatory. Proficiency in French or German is a significant advantage. BusinessTravel : Regular travel between Elancourt (France) and Ottobrunn (Germany) is expected to ensure close collaboration with your operational manager, with the frequency to be defined Your working environment: A stone’s throw away from The Palace of Versailles and located near Paris, Elancourt is a dynamic city, part of Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines agglomeration.
