DESCRIPTION: Join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Supplier Specialist III, where you'll contribute to growth and innovation across our industry-leading portfolio. You'll develop supplier strategy, guide new product introductions, and ensure commercial success while making a meaningful impact on science and healthcare. Working collaboratively with R&D, Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams, you'll translate customer needs into effective solutions that help make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. As a key member of the Product Management team, you'll manage our supplier portfolio including market analysis and voice of customer research and ongoing optimization. You'll develop pricing strategies, conduct competitive analysis, and create effective marketing programs to drive adoption. This role offers excellent opportunities to build strategic relationships with customers and key opinion leaders while contributing to scientific advances.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree required in biological sciences, chemistry, business, or equivalent. Master's degree or 3+ years of experience in portfolio management, supply chain management, marketing, sales, or business development. Experience in handling relationships with suppliers, business partners, and customers. • Additional certifications in Product Management or Marketing beneficial • Demonstrated success managing complex product portfolios and supporting business growth • Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities for forecasting and business planning • Excellent project management skills with ability to guide cross-functional initiatives • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities • Deep understanding of customer workflows and ability to translate needs into product requirements • Demonstrated experience developing and executing successful product launches and marketing campaigns • Experience with product lifecycle management and stage-gate development processes • Proficiency with business applications including Microsoft Office Suite • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams • Customer-centric mindset with consultative approach to solution development • Travel required for customer/site visits and industry events up to 30% • Additional language skills beneficial • Domain expertise in relevant scientific/technical areas preferred
