BDO Digital is looking for a Co-op or Intern Business/Quality Assurance Analyst to join the BDO Technology team from May to August 2027. The Business/QA Analyst internship offers opportunities to learn about what it takes to run software development, consulting, and support business. If you have a strong analytical mind, an interest in business analysis and quality assurance, and proven communication skills, this internship is for you! Your Responsibilities · Being a client advisor, helping understand client requirements and supporting the delivery of quality solutions. · Assist in gathering requirements, analyzing specifications and business processes, and identifying gaps or areas requiring clarification. · Assist in preparing artifacts such as Solution Requirement Specifications, User Stories, Use Cases, Process Diagrams, and Acceptance Criteria. · Develop and execute manual and automated test cases for client solutions. · Leverage AI tools to assist with requirements analysis, test design, test automation, documentation, and problem solving, while reviewing and validating AI-generated outputs. · Apply analytical and critical-thinking skills to identify risks, edge cases, requirement gaps, and scenarios beyond the obvious or documented requirements. · Collaborate with development and project teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality client solutions. · Gain exposure to modern test automation, APIs, cloud technologies, CI/CD, and AI-assisted software development. · Participate in innovation initiatives and explore opportunities to use AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve how solutions are delivered and tested. Your experience and education Requirements · Candidate for Math, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field. · General understanding of the software development lifecycle and an interest in Business Analysis and Quality Assurance. · Experience in business requirement gathering, or building test plans and test cases for systems, with manual and automated execution of test cases and with quality assurance processes. · Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar, and an interest in applying AI to improve productivity and problem solving. · Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to question assumptions and think beyond the obvious · Strong attention to detail and ability to learn new technologies and concepts quickly. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Curiosity, initiative, ownership, and a willingness to learn.
