Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Manage a team of Supplier Quality Engineers that   are responsible for   ensuring delivery of quality components, materials, and services in compliance   to   purchasing   controls.   Manage performance, develop talent,   engagement   and inclusion, communicate business and operational developments, plan, prioritize and/or direct the responsibilities of direct reports.   Accountable for mentoring, developing and coaching staff on meeting / exceeding performance expectations and defined   objectives .   Provide leadership to staff ensuring the prioritization of strategic and department level initiatives to include defining performance goals and targets, conducting performance reviews, and staff 1:1s to guide performance management and employee development efforts and manage toward departmental goals.   Develop/ maintain   monitoring systems to track supplier & team performance (training, nonconformances, open actions, Supplier CAPA, supplier change management, Global Supplier Quality improvement programs, goals, etc.).   Lead cross-functional teams of engineers and manufacturing functions to investigate and resolve supplier-related quality or compliance issues discovered during incoming inspection and/or production.   Lead team in corrective/preventive actions to resolve supplier-related issues (e.g., nonconformances, Supplier CAPA activities, audit findings, complaint investigations, etc.).   Ensure compliance   to   purchasing   controls, including supporting internal   and   external audits and inspections .   Required Knowledge and Experience: Bachelor’s   degree   required .   Minimum of   5   years of relevant experience or advanced degree with a minimum of   3   years of relevant experience   Strong leadership,   coaching   and mentoring skills for the team of direct reports   Strong communication , organizational and project planning skills     Nice to Have: MBA,   Masters in Engineering , science or technical field   ASQ CQE, CQA and/or CSQP certification   First Time Quality (FTQ) Coach / Six Sigma / Lean Green Belt or Black Belt certified     Physical Job Requirements The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.  ‌ Recruitment Fraud Alert   We are aware of phishing scams targeting job seekers.
