The Supplier Audit Team is looking for a lead auditor who is energetic, independent, and motivated to lead and conduct Quality System and Product/Process audits.
What You Will Do
Lead and participate in quality system and product/process audits. Know and understand the audit process to effectively execute it to the fullest, which includes: Communicating and scheduling audits with supplier and team members. Pre-audit research and planning. Conducting the audit. Managing and driving effective analysis and implementation of RCCA’s. Internal and external communications as required. Create and assist in the maintenance of audit process standard work. Assist in the development of the annual audit schedule. Interact and communicate with various groups and various levels of P&W management. Lead and participate in process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
You Must Have: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience. 50-75% domestic/international travel is required. Candidate must have minimum of 3 years audit experience in the Aerospace Industry and have a good understanding of AS9100.
Qualifications
We Prefer: ASQ, RABQSA and/or Lead auditor certifications are a plus. Have basic knowledge of special processes, manufacturing processes, manufacturing software, inspection processes, engineering, purchasing, programs, contracts, process control, FAI, non-conforming material management and CAR management. Have knowledge in collecting, analyzing, and transform process data into meaningful information shared with senior management as required. Demonstrate a high level of customer focus, business judgment, adaptability, teaming skills and communication skills. Have applied knowledge and daily use of CORE principles, especially RCCA/8D methodology. Be familiar with Industry and PW Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing Requirements; and read and comprehend various work instructions, quality manuals and other detailed instructions.
