As an Electrical Superintendent, you'll be the driving force behind the successful execution of all electrical operations on-site. From planning and coordination to hands-on oversight, you’ll ensure every aspect of the electrical discipline is delivered on time, within budget, and to exact specifications. Promote and comply with all Company and safety policies and procedures Manage a combination of two or more Leadmen, Foremen and Superintendent I, and up to 60 or more employees Supervise overall direction, coordination, performance and evaluation of sub-contractors Must be able to perform all the duties of a Level I Superintendent and Foreman Directly supervise, coordinate and delegate activities of Superintendent(s), Foreman(men) and/or construction trade workers in one or more occupations Coordinate activities of multiple subcontractors Interact with client in order to keep the project on schedule and under budget Maintain a well-organized receiving system Prepare accurate two week look-ahead Perform all types of job layouts with the latest technology Communicate effectively to employees in oral and written form Perform minor estimating Understand and use schedules Complete all required project reports and maintain appropriate documentation on all facets of the project Ensure that all operators are certified and maintain all equipment on the project Assist Human Resources and Superintendent by interviewing, hiring, and training, appraising work performance and addressing complaints of employees in the field Manage, lead direct reports, and mentor. SUPERVISORY: Supervise up to five foremen and lead other superintendents and crews consisting of up to 100 or more employees.

Five (5) years’ experience/knowledge or combination of experience and education in a supervisory role KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Be knowledgeable of MIC Health and Safety programs and project specific regulations. When on-site, actively participate in daily toolbox meetings with crews and subcontractors. Set a personal example of safe behavior. Organize, instruct and supervise construction crews and sub-contractors in all areas of construction Knowledge of all construction tools, machinery methods and procedures Must be able to forecast and monitor costs of project Understanding of construction methods, scheduling and blueprint reading The ability to demonstrate leadership, lead by example, motivate workers and communicate with workers, subordinates and clients Computer experience with Microsoft office, Email and Internet preferred Ability to work well under pressure and within timelines Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of
