Description Summary: The Business Intelligence Solution Engineer Sr. collaborates with stakeholders across Consumer and Home Lending to clearly define the underlying business need for reporting and dashboards and translate findings into basic business requirements. This position partners with business and technical subject matter experts, primary business partners will include sales, operations, underwriting, and risk/compliance, to source data to support the technical solution that they will design and maintain.
Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders across Consumer and Home Lending to clearly define the underlying business need for reporting and dashboards and translate findings into basic business requirements. Work with subject matter experts and business analysts to understand business process and source required data to support the solution. Design, develop, deploy, and maintain ETL processes to support business intelligence and reporting solutions. Design, develop, deploy, and maintain effective visualizations, dashboards, and scorecards that provide actionable information using business intelligence software (i.e. Tableau). On an ad hoc basis, execute reports or analyses, interpret results, and present recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency to business partners. Coordinate a project team, as well as be an individual contributor, as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree 5+ years experience working with large enterprise databases in a complex data environment using SAS, SQL, or similar programming experience to extract and transform data Preferred Qualifications: 5 years experience using business intelligence tools (i.e. Tableau, Power BI, etc.) Understanding of consumer loan products with particular emphasis on home lending origination and servicing processes Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong understanding of data preparation tools & techniques (i.e. experience with Tableau Prep) Creative thinker with very strong problem-solving skills Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced environment and balancing work efforts across multiple projects Focus on continuous improvement Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) ( No = eligible for overtime pay) Yes Workplace Type: Office Our Approach to Office Workplace Type Certain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement.
