Job summary
As a Portfolio Analysis Associate in the Portfolio Analysis Group, you will deliver performance measurement, attribution, and portfolio analytics that support investment teams and client reporting. You will translate results into clear insights, help improve analytics infrastructure, and ensure data quality through effective controls and collaboration.
Job responsibilities
Lead infrastructure and process initiatives that enhance performance measurement, attribution, and analytics capabilities Build strong partnerships across investment, operations, and reporting teams to understand needs and deliver solutions Interpret attribution results and develop commentary that explains drivers of portfolio outcomes across strategies Provide regular and ad hoc risk and return analysis to support investment decision-making Oversee performance and attribution calculations and develop reporting solutions to meet stakeholder requirements Monitor data quality and perform reconciliations across calculation sources to identify and resolve breaks Required qualifications, capabilities and skills Bachelor’s degree 5 years of experience in performance measurement and attribution analysis Strong understanding of fixed income products, including structured products and derivatives Knowledge of asset management products and client needs, including portfolio accounting principles and attribution methodologies Demonstrated quantitative and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail Strong communication skills, including the ability to present results and influence stakeholders Relationship management skills to build productive partnerships in a matrixed organization Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Experience conducting issue resolution and root cause analysis, including timely investigation and remediation Experience supporting fixed income performance and attribution workflows Developing experience using AI-powered analytics, workflow automation, or intelligent process tools to drive efficiency gains, reduce manual effort, or improve accuracy in operational processes.
