Job Description: The Role and Impact: As a Commodity Manager, you will be at the forefront of Intel's global supply chain strategy, driving sustainable cost, quality, availability, and technology solutions critical to Intel's success. You will leverage your expertise in supplier management, negotiations, contracting, stakeholder influence and market analysis to optimize supply chain solutions and support Intel's ability to innovate and deliver world-class technologies. This role provides a unique opportunity to influence Intel's strategic direction through supplier collaboration, risk mitigation, and the execution of multi-year commodity strategies. Your contributions will help shape Intel's leadership in the semiconductor industry while advancing operational excellence and affordability. Key Responsibilities
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and statements of work to secure optimal business outcomes. Develop and implement multi-year commodity strategies based on in-depth industry and market analysis. Drive supplier selection, sourcing, and performance management to meet dynamic business needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to efficiently procure materials and services cost-effectively and in alignment with Intel's goals. Leverages business acumen and ownership mentality to support Foundry industry standard equipment. Conduct regular executive reviews to assess and adapt sourcing strategies to evolving market conditions. Identify cost-saving opportunities and lead initiatives in partnership with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure supplier compliance with Intel's procurement policies and regulatory requirements. Develop new supply chain models to support emerging technologies and products. Manage global supplier relationships, including business continuity planning and supplier development. Drive sustainability initiatives and regulatory compliance to support Intel's corporate responsibility goals.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience in supply chain management, Business, Engineering, or a related field or master’s degree with 6+ years of experience or PhD. with 2+ years of experience in a relevant field. 3+ years of experience with the following skills: Expertise in contracting, negotiation, and supplier relationship management. Advanced knowledge of supply chain fundamentals, market dynamics, and risk mitigation strategies. Proven experience with data analysis tools, such as Power BI and Microsoft Excel. This is not open to an Intel immigration sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated experience independently leading complex negotiations. Experience in the semiconductor or manufacturing industries. Expertise in commodity management and program management. Familiarity with Intel's procurement policies and supplier tools, such as Ariba. Proficiency in developing ROI and cost analysis models and the impact of decisions on Foundry Income Statement Strong leadership skills to manage ambiguity and drive results. Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities to engage diverse stakeholders, including executive level presentation of information and influencing. Experience leveraging AI tools to increase efficiency and velocity.
