A Day in the Life The Supply Chain Planning Manager will oversee the Production Planning and Materials Purchasing teams at the Jacksonville, FL manufacturing site, driving performance to achieve service and inventory targets by developing high-performing teams.                     As the Supply Chain Planning Manager , you will execute focused supply chain solutions which support business objectives, including supply planning, inventory management and project management.  You will collaborate closely with site leadership, manufacturing, supply & demand planning, finance, new product development, and supply management. We drive the end-to-end planning, distribution, logistics and trade operations activities that help ensure Medtronic customers receive our life-saving products when they need them. Our vision is to become a best-in-class supply chain organization and a competitive advantage for Medtronic. In this exciting opportunity you will lead a team onsite in Jacksonville, Florida. Expect to travel <10%. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Develop the Master Production Schedule (MPS) each month optimizing service Develop level loaded – capacity constrained weekly / daily build schedule in line with MPS and manufacturing constraints adapted to Raw Materials, labor and equipment availability Serve as a key participant in the monthly SIOP cycle, managing long-term rough-cut planning and scenario analysis. Proactively identify and escalate exceptions for business consideration, offering possible scenarios and solutions. Attend / lead Tier 2 and Tier 3 at site to provide planning inputs and guidance Own Plan vs Actual performance, conducting thorough root cause analysis with clear action plans, assigned owners, and deadlines. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong accountability and the ability to influence business decisions to drive results. Act as the primary point of contact for site leadership, manufacturing, global supply chain, finance, and plant operations teams on material planning, Plan vs Actual, and inventory matters. Champion and manage material-constrained and MRP to align manufacturing with demand, aiming for zero backorders and backlog. Support network transfer projects and balance ramp-down activities to maintain uninterrupted service. Ensure effective material planning and purchase execution to maintain optimal material availability and prevent production line stoppages. Lead VMI and supplier integration initiatives. Coach and mentor the production planning and materials purchasing teams. Skillfully contribute as a core team member on large-scale or complex projects, adding value beyond traditional supply chain responsibilities. Maintain a strategic perspective to optimize overall supply chain performance and exceed site service KPIs. Must Have:

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with 5&#43; years of supply chain experience, or advanced degree with 3&#43; years of supply chain experience Experience using SAP, Blue Yonder, or similar ERP/SCM platforms Nice to Have Working knowledge of Power BI Knowledge of Supplier Management, Warehousing Demonstrated experience of leading and motivating high performing team Medical Device/ Medical Supplies Manufacturing experience APICS CPIM/CSCP Experience implementing/ utilizing LEAN/Six Sigma/A3
