Senior Director, OCI Strategic Customer Engineering – JAPAC

Department Description The Strategic Customers Engineering team manages Oracle Cloud Infrastructure's most important and fastest-growing customer relationships. In Japan, these customers include government agencies, regulated industries, and large enterprises pursuing cloud transformation through sovereign and dedicated cloud deployments. In addition to the public cloud offerings, Oracle's Dedicated Region Cloud @ Customer (DRCC) and Alloy offerings are central to this strategy, enabling customers to consume OCI services while meeting stringent requirements around data residency, sovereignty, security, compliance, and operational control. Our mission is to ensure customer success through best-in-class compute, storage, networking, AI, and cloud platform services while helping strategic customers maximize the value of OCI through dedicated and sovereign cloud solutions.

Overview We are seeking a Senior Director (M5) to join the Strategic Customers Engineering organization within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. This executive leadership role will be based in Japan and will focus on Oracle's most strategic customers in the Japan and Asia Pacific market, with customer engineering responsibility for public cloud, AI Infrastructure, OCI Distributed Region Cloud (DRCC) and Oracle Alloy initiatives. The Senior Director will lead a high-performing product management and engineering organization that partners with senior customer executives, internal engineering teams, and Oracle leadership to define product strategy, drive execution, and ensure successful delivery of dedicated cloud solutions. This role will help shape OCI's cloud roadmap, influence product investment priorities, and accelerate adoption among strategic customers in the region. The successful candidate will combine deep cloud expertise, strong product leadership capabilities, and exceptional stakeholder management skills across both Japanese and global teams.
