Analyst SCS The Role We are seeking an Analyst to join our Strategic Capital Solutions team based in London, Madrid or Frankfurt. The team brings together our Real Estate Investment Banking and Pan European Capital Markets Sector capabilities into an integrated, market-leading platform. We specialise in complex, multi-stakeholder transactions including large portfolio sales, corporate M&A, recapitalisations, joint ventures, new funds and structured equity transactions. The team operates from offices in London, Madrid, and Frankfurt, within a highly motivated, high-performing, investment-banking-style environment that values initiative, analytical rigor, and ambition. As Analyst, you'll independently execute standard analytical work, applying established technical capabilities across investment banking and capital markets transactions. You will support live client processes and build a working understanding of investor motivations and market context, with clear internal communication and limited client exposure.
Key Responsibilities
Analytical Execution: Independently execute standard analytical work, applying established technical capabilities to produce reliable, high-quality deliverables. Transaction Support: Support transaction workstreams including joint ventures, large portfolio sales, and corporate M&A, maintaining clear internal communication with the deal team. Financial Modelling: Build and maintain financial models for large portfolio sales, joint ventures, corporate M&A and structured equity transactions under established methodologies and templates. Market and Investor Awareness: Develop a working understanding of investor motivations and market context to support deal team analysis. Problem Solving: Apply established procedures to resolve standard analytical problems, escalating more complex issues appropriately. Internal Communication: Maintain clear, reliable internal communication with the deal team, with potential direct client exposure. Self-Management: Demonstrate reliable self-management and consistent execution of assigned tasks with minimal supervision. Business Contribution: Access internal resources to support transactions, consistently integrating ESG and technology considerations into deliverables. What Are We Looking For? Approximately 1 year of demonstrated experience in investment banking, or corporate finance, or real estate capital markets, or equivalent internship/analyst experience Strong financial modeling capabilities - comfortable building and maintaining financial and valuation models under established methodologies Sound understanding of financial statements and how operational metrics drive property value Demonstrated ability to apply established procedures to resolve standard analytical problems Excellent organisational abilities and reliable self-management Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Meticulous attention to detail Proactive attitude and ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives Expert proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Willingness to travel occasionally throughout Europe for client meetings and site inspections Additional European languages are beneficial but not essential What You Can
