Job Description
This is a rare opportunity for a highly experienced project leader, design director, or major projects professional to join our multidisciplinary team, and deliver an exceptional variety of major projects in Water Infrastructure across NSW, and throughout Australia. You will play a pivotal role in the delivery and pursuit of major water infrastructure projects across ANZ while working alongside senior leaders, contractors, alliance partners and clients, providing strategic leadership on complex Design & Construct projects. You will help drive successful project outcomes while managing risk, commercial performance and technical excellence. This role offers significant career runway. What You'll Be Doing
Leading the delivery of major water infrastructure projects across Australia and New Zealand. Operating as Project Director across both design and delivery on complex Design & Construct programs. Managing commercial performance, project controls, risk management and stakeholder engagement. Building strong relationships with contractors, alliance partners and key water clients. Providing strategic guidance to project teams through complex technical and delivery challenges. Supporting major pursuits, bids and framework opportunities across the region. Mentoring and developing project teams while fostering a high-performance delivery culture. Driving project outcomes that balance technical excellence, client satisfaction and commercial success.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For You are a respected major projects leader with a track record of successfully delivering large-scale water infrastructure projects in complex stakeholder environments. You will likely bring: Extensive experience (ideally 12 years +) leading major Design & Construct water infrastructure projects within an engineering consultancy environment. Strong delivery experience across water treatment plants, pump stations, transmission pipelines or other major water infrastructure assets. Proven ability to manage project commercials, risk, delivery performance and client relationships. A known client network in NSW, with a reputation for delivering major projects, while providing technical input/guidance in design. Experience working with contractors, consultancies, clients or alliance environments on major infrastructure programs. Demonstrated success delivering multiple large-scale projects from planning through execution. Strong leadership capability with the ability to influence, mentor and guide multidisciplinary teams. Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
