Snapdragon Digital Chassis is a set of cloud-connected platforms for telematics and connectivity, the digital cockpit, and driver assistance and autonomy. Advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and Autonomous Driving (AD) are one of the fastest-growing segments in automotive electronic systems that help the vehicle driver while driving or during parking. 4G, 5G, V2V, V2X, signal and image process, computer vision and deep learning technology are widely used in IVI, ADAS and AD. We are seeking ambitious, bright and innovative engineers with experience in Automotive software functional safety and AI Infra , test concepts, software process improvement. The environment is fast-paced and requires cross-functional and cross sites interaction on daily basis. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Automotive domain test experience and some exposure to IVI, ADAS and AD features. Experience with HIL (Hardware in Loop) and SIL (Software in Loop) test methodologies used for testing embedded systems. Test experience on Multimedia/CV/AI technologies a huge plus – Camera, Audio, Video, Graphic, EVA/CV, neural networks and AI processing. Knowledge of AUTOSAR Fundamentals (e.g. BSD, CDD etc.). 10+ years of SW development, planning, test case design/development and validation experience in Linux, QNX, Android, Multimedia, Kernels and device driver domains. 10+ years of strong automation experience with test case development (C/C++, Python a must). Strong analytical, problem-solving and debugging skills. Ability to create and execute manual and automated test plans and test cases , reporting bugs and testing bug fixes Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
