Job Description
AECOM Advisory is seeking a dynamic Economics and Strategy Advisory Consultant to support our growing global Advisory business line. We are seeking talented management consultants to join AECOM Advisory who are mission-driven for the role of our clients in supporting economic, environmental and social vibrancy. We are recruiting for this role in the following metro areas: Boston, MA, New York, NY, Washington DC, Raleigh, NC, Arlington, VA, Philadelphia, PA or Miami, FL. Join AECOM’s Economics Advisory team to shape decisions on some of the issues that define our lifetime: inclusive growth, climate resilience, the energy transition, and the future of cities, through the real projects AECOM delivers with its clients every day. You will tackle strategic challenges such as translating net-zero ambitions into bankable investment cases, quantifying the socioeconomic value for large-scale investments in energy, water, transportation, and AI infrastructure, and assisting public sector clients in shaping public policy and planning for their key investment and policy priorities. Building off AECOM’s considerable expertise in infrastructure design and implementation, AECOM Advisory is a trusted adviser to senior level clients and executive teams on their most pressing enterprise and strategic needs. Our team of 400 staff globally comprises business and policy analysts, economists, commercial strategists, technologists, as well as human capital and change management practitioners. We help our clients develop their strategy, improve their operational performance, and integrate digital systems to generate value for their stakeholders and impact for their communities. We serve the full value chain of clients active in infrastructure, the built environment, and community vibrancy, including: national governments, regulatory entities, city agencies, utilities, transit agencies, infrastructure operators, private corporations, developers and investors. The successful candidate will employ economics methods and rigorous analysis to lead quantitative and qualitative approaches to develop and/or evaluate strategies that address policy, infrastructure investments, supply chain and social challenges. We are a new category of consulting firm; one that builds off true operational and technical expertise of our broader platform to bring industry depth and capability-driven insight to the clients we serve. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Economics and Strategy, the consultant will oversee daily operations, manage technical delivery, and help drive the systematic expansion of this strategic service area.
