Resident Doctor – Oncology / Chemotherapy Day Unit (Outpatients) Location: London Facility: Private Care at Guy’s, part of HCA Healthcare UK Contract Type: Full-time or Part-time Shifts: Weekdays only (Tuesday - Friday) | 9:00am – 6:00pm Salary: Highly competitive, plus exceptional benefits About the Role: Private Care at Guy’s is seeking a dedicated Resident Doctor in Oncology to join our Chemotherapy Day Unit, delivering high-quality outpatient cancer care within one of London’s leading private oncology services. In this role, you will support the safe and effective delivery of systemic anti-cancer therapies for patients with both solid tumours and haematological malignancies. Working closely with expert consultants, chemotherapy nurses, pharmacists, and the wider multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in ensuring outstanding clinical outcomes and an exceptional patient experience. Provide medical cover within the Chemotherapy Day Unit, supporting outpatient oncology services Clerk, assess, and manage elective and semi-elective oncology patients attending for treatment Review patients undergoing chemotherapy, managing treatment-related toxicities and complications Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, relatives, consultants, and nursing teams Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team, including participation in escalation and resuscitation pathways when required. What you’ll bring:    Full GMC registration and Licence to Practise in the UK Completion of Foundation Training, plus IMT-4 / Core Medical Training (CM4) or equivalent experience Full MRCP qualification Minimum 4 years’
