The Head of Sourcing 3rd Party Goods is responsible for establishing and leading the global operating model for externally sourced products across the global factory network. The role ensures that 3rd party sourcing is not managed locally, but operates as an integrated part of the global supply chain system, with planning, inventory, allocation, and operational execution processes. As the owner of the global 3 rd party sourcing framework, the role acts as the central orchestrator between Procurement, Planning and Digitalization functions to optimize the external supply ecosystem and ensure product availability. How you will make an Impact with us Key Responsibilities External Supply Network Strategy & Governance Define and evolve the global operation model for 3rd party goods (trading goods) Establish standardized sourcing models, processes, and governance frameworks Ensure alignment with global architecture (IBP, planning, data models) End‑to‑End Supply Chain Integration Integrate external supply flows into planning and replenishment processes, ensure alignment with: Demand & Supply Planning (IBP) Multi-Level Inventory Optimization (MLIO) Product Availability Management Order Management & allocation processes Ensure supplier capacity, lead times, and constraints are transparently reflected in planning and execution Network Orchestration Act as central orchestrator between Global Functions like SCM, Procurement, IT Balance global standards with local realities and constraints Supplier Market & Risk Management Build deep understanding of global supplier markets, capacity risks, and geopolitical factors Design mitigation strategies: Multi‑sourcing / pooling Risk buffers and allocation logic Ensure supply resilience across the network Data ‑ Driven Decision Making Leverage data and analytics to steer sourcing decisions: Demand forecasts, inventory KPIs, supplier performance Drive transparency on: supply risks shortages capacity limitations Enable fact‑based prioritization and escalation processes Transformation & Scaling Lead the rollout of global sourcing models Drive logistical and architectural/ ERP design for all kinds of trading goods Integrate trading goods into standard factory sourcing processes such as Material Strategy teams, second source handling etc Required Qualifications & Experience Extensive experience in Supply Chain Management and/or Sourcing in a global manufacturing environment Strong expertise in end‑to‑end supply chain processes (Planning,
