What you’ll do The role responsibilities include: · Review tower/pole structural design basis, loading criteria, structure calculations, foundation designs, structural drawings, and material specifications. · Review structural outputs and coordination with PLS-CADD, route conditions, geotechnical data, access constraints, and constructability requirements. · Identify structural design gaps, foundation risks, constructability issues, and non-compliances. · Support technical review meetings, contractor clarifications, design comment resolution, and client technical recommendations. What you’ll have · Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related discipline. · Minimum 10 years of relevant transmission line structural engineering experience. · Experience with 500kV tower, pole, or EHV transmission line structural design is strongly preferred. · Experience using or reviewing PLS-CADD and STAAD Pro outputs. · Ability to coordinate structural design with route, geotechnical, electrical, and substation interface requirements.
