Factors that may be used to determine rate of pay include specific skills, work location, work experience and other individualized factors JOB SUMMARY The Manager of Business Analytics has a broad and strong business acumen, the ability to effectively communicate with different stakeholders of the business, thinking the ability to design and simplify poorly defined business problems and has an in-depth understanding of decision-making processes within the organization The Manager of Business Analytics leads his/her team to develop and maintain the business intelligence reporting frameworks, tools, and data; working cross-functionally with various business owners to determine and meet their reporting and analytics needs, and ensures timely high-quality reporting and analytics.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages data analysts to define reporting, carry out scheduled reporting for business leaders, and identify business opportunities Presents data using visualization tools that convert large data into comprehensible information Enables the on-going creation, translation, and consumption of data-driven insights to help the organization make better decisions Develops the pricing matrix model to include strategies and competitive pricing analysis in order to meet corporate financial goals Drives new business revenue and customer behaviors through the development of analytical projects designed to understand key business indicators that drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement. Uses business acumen to identify opportunities to develop forecasts, statistical models, segmentation schemes, and data-driven analyses to drive marketing and merchandising efforts around customer acquisition and conversion Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards Ensure the company has the necessary data and information for ongoing daily operations and strategic planning Works with business owners to identify information needs Develops and designs reporting for the management team, sales, finance & accounting, marketing, merchandising and operations Optimizes the business through analytics and statistical modeling Partner with the Technology teams to deliver a stable and highly available reporting platform while developing and maintaining reporting and analytical tools Develop KPI dashboards: Shipping, pricing, Supplier performance Integrate web analytics into transactional and customer analytics in order to measure and improve channel performance QUALIFICATIONS Education Undergraduate degree in Business or related field Experience Minimum of 6 years’ experience in business analytics Minimum of 3 years managing people Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Access, SQL, PowerPivot, and Reporting Services Experience in developing forecasts, statistical models, segmentation schemes, and data-driven analyses Highly analytical and data-driven Google web analytics is a plus Reporting tool such as SSRS, Tableau, etc. is a plus Skills Exceptional organizational skills Strong communication skills: written and verbal Independent thinker Attention to detail Ability to write short correspondence Ability to speak and write English in a clear, understandable manner Ability to accurately follow detailed procedures and processes Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment Ability to work with a diverse group of people Ability to work comfortably under pressure Ability to prioritize and work multiple tasks and exceeds deadlines Ability to
