Production Process Review: Conduct on site reviews of manufacturing processes at partner facilities to ensure compliance with technical requirements and process standards. Yield Management and Issue Resolution: Lead on site root cause analysis for production anomalies and drive rapid corrective actions to maintain yield targets during ramp up. Manufacturing Execution and Automation: Oversee the bring up and qualification of automated production lines, ensuring assembly processes including alignment and curing meet performance requirements. Quality and Cosmetic Monitoring: Monitor factory floor quality metrics and cosmetic inspection results, ensuring partner processes effectively filter defects to meet shipping quality standards.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience in optical system development. Preferred qualifications: Experience bringing up automated active alignment systems from equipment qualification through mass production ramp up. Ability to lead technical deep dives with factory partners to resolve complex assembly yield issues in high volume environments. Knowledge of balancing optical performance versus manufacturing cost and complexity in AR or miniaturized module designs. Excellent track record of mentoring factory floor personnel to improve operational discipline and product cosmetic standards. Excellent problem-solving skills demonstrated by the ability to prioritize and execute corrective actions under tight production schedules.
