Standard Job Description You will be the Contracts Management Sr for the Contracts Management Team. Our team is responsible for providing supplies and services, managing contracts from capture through award, and overseeing all phases of contract administration.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Contracts Management Sr you will be responsible for supervising contract activities, ensuring compliance, and building strong customer relationships. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Coordinate contract solicitations, capture efforts, negotiations, and award processes with program, finance, legal, engineering, and other functional partners. Serve as the authorized Company representative to customer buying officials, fostering effective relationships and managing contract performance. Ensure contractual compliance with all laws, regulations, and Delegation of Authority requirements; lead internal and external audits. Collect contractual data, compile reports for corporate and Business Area requests, and develop training on contract best practices. Provide business advice and guidance to cross‑functional teams to resolve contractual issues and address customer concerns. Desired Skills The ideal candidate will be capable of providing assistance with development and implementation of solutions to sometimes complex business and contractual matters which require regular reliance upon ingenuity, creativity, and innovation. The successful candidate will possess excellent writing skills and will be relied upon (with training and oversight) to author business correspondence to result in or influence desired business outcomes The ideal candidate will have significant experience managing US Government Contracts with a variety of contract types.
